Audyssey DSX 11.1

I am an AES member from the Toronto Section who is very interested in DSX and I desire to implement a fully funtionioning DSX application in my home however, there does not seem to be a single product available that will deliver both the wide and height channels simultaneously. Please advise. I am currently using an Integra DHC 9.9 and have enough speakers to do this so my next question is, would it be possible to daisy chain another multichannei device posessing DSX to the DHC 9.9 to achieve this? Any Suggestions?

Thanks,

Jim Holmes.

The only currently available product that supports Audyssey DSX Wides and Heights simultaneously is the Denon AVR-4810. Because it only has 9 amplifier channels it provides line-out connections for the DSX Heights and you would need an external 2-channel amp to achieve the full 11.1 configuration.

In another thread from yesterday, you answered that there are currently two receivers capable of producing all 11.1 channels: the Denon 4810 (which can run 11.3 channels but which I saw was **not **3D HDMI compatible) and Denon 4311 (which _does _run HDMI 1.4a for 3D signals, but lacks THX and Neural sound).  So, they both have 9 amp channels and the additional 2 channels require an external stereo amp.  It looks like only the 4311 lets you choose which extra speakers are amped (heights, wides or rear surrounds).   Is this correct? Also, please update this thread with any new A/V receivers or Pre/Pros that offer the full 11.1 experience.  Thanks for your help!

Yes, I will update the thread as we get news from more manufacturers who decide to include 11 channels.
