Stand-alone or built-in sub processing?

Hi, wil a receiver like the Integra DTR-40.1: process the subs as good as a seperate sub eq. Or would having both be optimal. I would be running to SVS ultra 13s.

There are no current receivers that have the same functionality for subs as the stand-alone Sub Equalizer (or SVS AS-EQ1). These stand-alone processors have much higher resolution filters for room correction than what is possible in an AVR and they also have additional processing for blending the combination of two subs that is not currently done in AVRs.
