MultEQ Pro multi-threaded?

Is MultEQ Pro multi-threaded and does it take advantage of multiple processor cores, or is the only way to speed up the calculations to increase processor clock speed?

I notice that Pro takes considerably longer to run the calculations for MultEQ XT 32 than for the previous version, MultEQ XT, and I am considering a new laptop.
