Can anyone recommend good videos and music that can utilize the DSX to the fullest extent?
Multi track drum recordings, music of any kind and videos. What ever is good.

The best content for DSX demos is movies. Especially scenes with wide panning sounds in the front (e.g., the attack planes scene in Pearl Harbor). Orchestral and live concerts also sound great. However... the music industry often mixes vocals in all three front channels. I still don't know why they do this. It causes fuzzy images in the front and so we don't recommend using DSX for that type of content.
I have a Denon 4311 what setting would you suggest for music content?
Is there any optimum movie or music recording type or format to look for? I could do a search within that format type.
Internet station?...
I wanna see what this 4311 can do with everything going. :)
Two-channel music is best enjoyed in stereo mode. The various upmixing methods can introduce artifacts. You can try them for yourself and see if you like them.
Internet stations are at such low bitrates that there is no hope of quality.
I suggest looking for Blu ray music content (live concerts).
Thank you Chris.
I'm kinda bummed the SACD's or Bluray music never really took off. It sure would be nice to have the music industry dedicated to multi channel music. At least 5.1
Maybe in another decade?... :)
