Would XT/XT32 be able to handle mixed subs used simultaneously? (ported+sealed)

If say my amp is a Denon 4311 or an Onkyo 3009 (both 9.2), would I be able to rely on its Audyssey XT32 to fix my sub's low frequency if I use both a sealed and a ported sub? Say I use one output for my ported sub (SVS PC13Ultra) and another output to a sealed sub (SVS SB12NSD)?

If I add another sealed sub on a Y-connector to the current sealed sub making it 2x SVS SB12NSD on one output and place the subs far from each other (beside Left and right front speaker), plus my ported SVS PC13Ultra on the other output of the amp, can the XT32 still handle this?

 

Would Audyssey XT still be able to handle all the above configurations? Or once you get more than 2 subs, it is a must to go XT32?

    The number of subs has nothing to do with the Audyssey version of MultEQ you are using.  It is totally up to the AVR maker to decide whether they want to give independent control of the subs to Audyssey.  

    If you add a y-connector then Audyssey can't ping the subs individually.  The best way around that is to make sure they are similar subs, set to the same level and at the same distance from the listener.

    The benefit of XT32 over XT is the much higher filter resolution that will result in a smoother response, particularly in the bass region.

    i see. so let me just clarify this:

    a) 1 ported sub + 1 sealed sub wherever it may be placed = no problem for audyssey on a 2sub out receiver

     

    b) 1 ported sub + 2 sealed sub (y-connector) = make sure that sealed sub is similar, same level, same location or same distance to listener

     

    did I get it right sir?
