Audyssey and Velodyne's room-bass correction

Hi,

First I have to say that English isn't my first language so please please forgive me for my writting and expression mystakes!

I have a home theater as follows:

Pre amplifier Marantz AV 8003 (with Audyddey of course), Speakers JAMO THX 2 (7.1). I would like to change the sub for a Velodyne DD15.

The Marantz runs Auddyssey and it includes the bass correction for all speakers including the sub. The Velodyne has its own bass correction, so both of them do approx. the same job.

My question is: how can I use Audyssey's management  for my speakers only (so except for the sub)  so that I can use the Velodyne's correction.

Thanks.

We recommend that you first run the Velodyne process and then run MultEQ in the Marantz.  Please also look here for more subwoofer setup tips with MultEQ.

Would the same advice apply if using a Velodyne SMS-1 and 2 subwoofers, and an Audyssey SEQ?

Yes.  All non-Audyssey processing should be done prior to running Audyssey.
