i run denon1910 audyssey it say front 40hz centre40hz surround & front height 80hz what should i set freq for lfe 80hz or 120hz

Audyssey Labs The crossover between the subwoofer and the speakers is not the same as the LFE setting. The crossover determines what frequencies will be sent to the speakers and what will be sent to the subwoofer. It should be set where MultEQ found it. The LFE setting is a filter that applies only to the separate LFE track in 5.1 content. It is found under "Surround Parameters" in your Denon and should always be set to 120 Hz. It's not related to any acoustic measurement. The content in that track is authored up to 120 Hz.

Ronnie Chan Hi Chris,
I am using Onkyo 608.After the audyssey calibration,It set my Front crossover is 40hz,rear and center is 50hz.But according to THX it should be all 80hz.Which I should follow?
-
Audyssey Labs The THX recommendation of 80 Hz applies only if you have THX speakers. They are designed to integrate with a THX subwoofer. However, room placement can influence the low frequency behavior of speakers and so the measured roll off can be lower or higher.

Ronnie Chan Hi Chris,
at 40hz and 50hz crossover,There seems to be lack of bass in music. It is wise to override the audyssey and set it at maybe 60hz or 80hz? Besides, audyssey also set my subwoofer at -3db.
-
Audyssey Labs It's fine to move the crossover to a higher value. Your subwoofer was set to -3 dB to match the other speakers in level. It's just a relative adjustment to make up for whatever setting the subwoofer volume control is set to.
