The Onkyo has a bass and treble setting on it's audio key (not in the setup). Audyssey never changes it when I run the program. Are these two adjustments outside the program, and if so, what is the proper setting? I have them both at +8 and I don't want to screw up my program results by changing them.

Audyssey Labs Turning both the bass and treble up is basically the same as turning up the volume! Treble and bass adjustments interfere with the results that Audyssey calculated to fix the acoustical problems in the room. If you are using bass and treble then that means Audyssey is off...

Jeff Buttikofer I'll set them at zero and run the program again. then I won't touch them again!

Audyssey Labs LOL. It actually doesn't matter where you set them prior to running the calibration. All internal settings of the AVR are ignored when you run the calbration. It's only after the fact that things can be changed. Off is a great setting for tone controls :-)
