Audyssey setup hangs at 96% on calculation step on Marantz SR6005

Hi, Has anyone experienced this issue. I just purchased the Marantz SR6005 last week and yesterday I finally decided to perform the Audyssey setup. I have 5.1 speaker setup so I have the speaker assignment set for 5.1 on Zone1 and nothing on Zone2. I have gone through the process about 5-6 times and it takes all the measurements using the 6 different locations. But on Step 4 of the process when it goes through the calculations it just hangs, I've left it for 1/2 hour and nothing.

I've tried setting the mic at different locations, my measurement process is as follow. I take the first measurement in front of the center seat of the couch on a tripod, then I move the mic 2-3 feet to the left. Then move 2-3 feet from the center to the right, then repeat the same approximately 3 feet in front from the original position 1 spot, and repeat the same pattern as position 2 and 3.

Any help would be appreciated.

This sounds like something is wrong with the hardware--possibly the digital processing board.  It has to be looked at by Marantz service.

So was this a hardware problem?  I'm having the same issue with my Onkyo 809.

Yes, as far I know. Since I had the problem immediately after I purchased the unit. I returned it to the store and got a replacement. The new unit performed the calculations perfectly, and since then I've changed the configuration numerous times and the calculations usually takes 30 or so seconds. Good luck I hope it's a new unit and you can exchange it.

I actually fixed this.  I had to unplug the power from the unit and plug it back in.  Thanks for responding.
