Hi I have a Onkyo 708, and when I run the Audyssey speaker configuration the configuration works fine until it reaches the Right surround speaker when it tests the sound but then sends sound to the Left surround without changing in the screen and triggering an error.
I checked the connections and the cables seem fine, also in the back panel configuration both surround are apart so is not a problem with the cables touching or anything like that.
any suggestions?

Hi Gonzalo,
Do you have a 5.1 or 7.1 system? It it's 5.1 then the surround speakers must be connected to the LSurr and RSurr terminals and not the Back Surround terminals. These are only for 7.1 and if you connect your main surrounds there you will get an error.
Hi, I have just upgraded from an onkyo 809 to a 1009 and running 9.2, the EQ dosent pick up the wide right and left speakers. I have rechecked the connections and they are fine. any ideas how to iit toi recognise them? cheers.

Is the test signal played from the Wides or are they not even pinged? If they are not playing the test signal then it is a connection problem or the AVR hasn't been told in the menu that they are there.
