I'm considering using active XO's on my L/R speakers.
I'd like to retain the ability to pre-EQ my two subs (they're very different so I do this with DSP before running Audyseey), which I could do with a 3-way XO using one sub each on the L & R speakers.
Will I get the same filter resolution (I have XT32 and Pro) as I'd get with bass management?
And would I get the same benefit of individual sub adjustment by Audyssey?

Actually there's still the second part of my question - will there be a bottom-line difference in sub integration?
I'm not sure I quite get the second part. Are you asking whether the two subs will be blended by the Sub EQ HT process? If I understand correctly, you are not designating them as subs right? You are crossing them over in the main speakers and are telling the speakers to be Large? If so, then they won't receive the blending method that is applied to the two subs in the system.
