I set my subwoofer level to the mid point and ran Audyssey, I got a -11dB trim, I decided to bring it down a little by adjusting the subwoofer level and ran Audyssey again and ended up with -9dB.
What implications or suggestions do you have about changing the Subwoofer level independent of Audyssey after calibration? For example; music video audio preferences may be different to movies.

It doesn't matter what the subwoofer trim is found to be, as long as it's not –12 dB. That's the limit of the AVR and so you won't know if more cut is needed. So, the original –11 dB value is fine. Same for the new setting on the sub that now produced –9 dB. These are just relative numbers that reflect the value needed to match the sub to the other speakers.
Changing the sub level after calibration will take you out of reference and into preference. In my opinion calibrated reference is calibrated reference. It makes no difference what the content is. If it was made in a calibrated studio then the sub level should match that of the speakers.
