Audyssey SOMA dead

Hi, I turned on my SOMA yesterday and only the back green light turns on. The front play/pause button doesn't work, volume lights do not light up, no sound comes out, however the dock is still charging the iPod. I tried resetting the unit with the buttons in the back to no avail. The dock was barely if ever used and at low volumes during its short life. Any suggestions?

If you have already tried the factory reset on the dock, and it did not help then our next suggestion is that you contact our technical support team so that they may further troubleshoot the issue.  Technical Support can be reached directly at (877) 655-4901.  If they too are unable to rectify the problem at hand then it will be escelated for a possible warranty return, where we will either replace or repair the unit.  The South of Market audio dock is covered under a 1-year warranty.

I'm having the same issue with my SOMA, was working just fine up until this afternoon when I got back from work.  I placed my iPod touch 4th gen on dock and nothing happened, it powered on but no sound comes out of the unit! Help, I love my SOMA and have had no problems with this until now!

If you are able, we also suggest that you try using another device with the dock just to make sure that it's not a problem with the particular iPhone or iPod that you are connecting.  If all devices are failing to connect then you should definitely contact technical support at (877) 655-4901.  As mentioned above, they will escalate the issue for possible warranty return if they are unable to figure it out after troubleshooting.
