Use with Bumper (iPhone/iPod Case)

Will my device mount to the 30-pin connector if it has a bumper or case?

    We have not found any problems mounting devices to the 30-pin connector of the South of Market Audio Dock using basic iPhone/iPod cases.  However, there may be some interference with the thicker ones, such as Otterbox.

    Can you dock an iPhone 4 with Otter Box defender case?

    We cannot guarantee the connection. The Otterbox cases tend to be thicker so it is possible that the a hard connection won't be made when using this case while mounted to the 30-pin connector of the Audyssey Audio Dock.

    I have an Otterbox defender case and will not properly dock Chip. I think that maybe the otterbox Commuter case could possibly work as it is thinner, but the defender case is definitely too thick! Hope this helps.
