I bought a SOMA 2 weeks ago in Singapore and works fine, but sometimes, recently more often, suddenly the volume drops to very very low volume. That low that by increasing all volumes on SOMA and iPhone/iPad you can´t really hear anything....switching it off/on sometimes helps or factory reset, but it happens all over again from time to time....any solution for that? Best regards Jo

SD Hi Jo, while connected to the SOMA via bluetooth, are you & the SOMA unit in anyway situated in an electrical-induced environment like a microwave oven, high-powered internet wireless router, cordless phone, etc.
Secondly, are you still currently base in Singapore? -
Brent Davis I recently had the same issue, but while my iPod Touch was docked. The volume suddenly dropped from a normal listening volume to barely audible. I then tried my phone via bluetooth and still no sound even though it had worked fine previously. I had to perform a factory reset to fix it. Hope that won't become a regular occurrence!

Pat Scanlan I have a SOMA dock as well and have been experiencing this same volume issue for quite some time. The volume will drop down so low you have to turn the dock all the way up to barely hear it. It does this streaming over bluetooth, plugged into a laptop using the audio cable, or when an iPhone is docked. I have tried resetting to factory settings a dozen times, still does it. Only way to temporarily fix it is to turn the dock off and turn it back on, but it will do it again. It seems like a firmware issue. Any ideas?

Permanently deleted user Hi Pat,
What you are experiencing is definitely not expected behavior of the Audio Dock. Since you just purchased the unit two weeks ago it is probably best for you to contact the retailer directly to see if you can exchange the unit through them. Otherwise, contact me directly by email at ctrudeau@audyssey.com and I can assist you with a warranty return.
Best regards,
Cindy Trudeau
