Hello, I have purchased a Audyssey SoMA and love this thing and the audio quality! I mostly listen via my iphone 4 bluetooth audio, but I've been trying to just play my ipod through the dock connector - and am unable to do so without having an obnoxious sound come through the speakers (even before the ipod is connected to dock...) I've tried the reset procedure, I've tried unplugging and plugging in again and still has the same issues. I have a feeling that this is a problem with the unit itself... When playing music via bluetooth all is well and plays fine with great clarity. I've tried manually docking the ipod and iphone to determine if it was my device and I'm having this issue with the SoMA playing this loud feedback...

Audyssey Labs Hi, I have forwarded your email to Cindy in Customer Service who will make arrangements to return the unit. Something is obviously broken. Did it do this out of the box or did it start later?

Austin Stroot Dang it... It would be my luck... Oh well, I would definitely like to have one of these that works! It started out working fine, and with my job I'm gone frequently and would always unplug it and put a cover over it to protect it, so I don't exactly know what happened... I do have the original box, packaging, accessories etc... Please advise on the next steps. Thanks for your quick reply!

Audyssey Labs Do you happen to have the audio cable connected on the back? If it is just dangling there it will cause buzzing if it's not connected to a music source.

Austin Stroot No, I do not.... The audio cable is still sealed in the box.
