I have been enjoying my new speakers using the analog jack and cable, but just got a new Apple TV and optical audio cable, and was looking forward to using them together. However, I get no audio from the speakers when using the optical audio in. I tried also sourcing the audio from the optical out on a Macbook Pro, and also no sound, so I think the issue may be in the speakers. Is there a switch somewhere for which input to use? Something I'm not understanding about optical audio ports? Help appreciated!

Permanently deleted user Have you used this optical cable with another device to confirm there isnt an issue with the cable? By chance, do you have another optical cable that you can try?
